It’s Charity Week at Legion Athletics

I don’t know about you, but I believe the world can never have enough heroes.

These are the people who give us everything that’s beautiful, good, and real.

I also believe that every one of us can be a hero, and that it’s far easier than many people believe.

Well, how do heroes behave?

At bottom, heroes don’t gripe about things that should change or simply “feel bad” for people who need help.

They do something about it.

While I don’t consider myself a hero per se, that’s why I started this company—to create the change I wanted to see in the sports supplements industry—and that’s why I have a “Charity Week.”

The idea here is very simple:

Every quarter, I donate a portion of weekly profits to a charity that resonates with me and my team.

There’s no cap on donations either, so the more we sell, the more we give.

This time around, we’ve chosen to support Center for Disaster Philanthropy, which is supporting healthcare workers, quarantined and especially vulnerable individuals, and hygiene promotion activities.

What’s more, we’ve just put our bestselling health and vitality supplements on sale for 15% off, and as there’s no cap on the donations, the more we sell, the more we give.

Now, what’s the Center for Disaster Philanthropy up to, you’re wondering?

  1. They’re providing masks, gowns, gloves and other essential personal protective equipment to essential medical staff who are at increased risk because of their close contact with people who may be infected.
  2. They’re supporting people unable to go to work, go shopping for necessities, attend social functions or even see their families in some cases.
  3. They’re increasing access to Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) resources to help limit the spread of all viruses and other infections.

And why did we choose them?

Well, we love what they’re doing, they’re small and truly appreciate the help, and they have an outstanding ranking on Charity Navigator (92.22%).

So, if you feel like doing something a little heroic today, please support us in our mission to not only help reform the sports nutrition industry, but also to give at-risk professionals and everyday people the help we’d appreciate if we were in their shoes.
